JAM821 is a cover band based in West Gippsland, Victoria, Australia. Formed in 2009, the band has played well over 100 gigs at pubs, clubs, sporting venues, weddings, corporate functions, fund raising events and parties. Music made famous by bands and artists such as The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Crowded House, The Angels, AC/DC, Paul Kelly, Elvis, Creedence, Daddy Cool, Dragon, Billy Joel, Greenday and John Cougar, to name a few. The band features two vocalists who sing a wide variety of songs making the versatility of the band outstanding.
The band is named for the fact that we often jammed from 8pm to 1am when we're working on new songs - hence JAM 8to1.
The band features musicians who have a diverse range of tastes and styles but one thing they all love is to get out and play great songs that people love to hear, dance to and sing along with. With Harvey and Michael on vocals and guitar, Denby on bass and Mick on drums, there are plenty of opportunities to play songs appreciated by a wide age range of audience members. Whilst many of our songs are from the 60s 70 and 80s, we also throw in a few of the modern classics as well. What we lack in youth we make up for in experience, good looks and charisma! Even our youngest member is getting older every day.
